Bonn/Rio de Janeiro (WWEA) – The wind community around the world is invited to benefit until 20 October from a special discount on registration for the World Wind Energy Conference WWEC2019, available through the official website www.world-wind.events.
The event, which is held annually by the World Wind Energy Association (WWEA), will take place for the first time in Brazil, between 25 and 27 November 2019. Entrepreneurs, researchers and financial experts and representatives from governments and international organisations, all experts in energy and power generation, will gather to discuss latest developments in renewable energy around the world. The WWEC2019 programme covers all aspect related to wind power and is now available on the event website: www.world-wind.events
In order to allow broadest possible participation, this year’s conference offers two special registration categories: students and participants from developing countries, both with discounts of more than 50% on the regular registration fees.
In addition to these special groups, by 20 October, an additional € 100 early bird discount will be available for all participants.

WWEC2019 – This year’s edition of WWEC features the submission of over 100 papers from around the world. Based on the theme “Large-scale integration of wind power generation”, the conference will discuss how renewable energy sources can contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and achieve eventually an emission free energy supply. The conference has already spanned the world’s five continents, 15 countries and brought together over 10,000 people over its last 17 editions.
WWEA – The World Wind Energy Association was founded in 2001 and is working to expand renewable sources around the world. The organisation currently has over 600 direct members distributed across 106 countries on all continents. The association publishes annual world statistics and enhances technology transfer.
